Y'need to find out how admins change the Notes Address Book.

That "forwarding address" mentioned in the prior posting was how some admins decide to move email to Exchange.

If it's the method your corporation used, then it shouldn't be a big issue to send email by the exact same Notes Name as you've always used. Notes will notice there's a forwarding address and forward email on to the Exchange address entered in the forwarding field.

However, note, if you have a reader or author field, and it's also enabled for emailing ("lookup addresses"), then you'll need to modify the function. Because the address lookup, it'll convert your user's access-controlled name into an email address, and that'll be useless for granting access.

There's a fairly simple workaround -- just disable the "lookup addresses" checkmark. But it'll disable a lot of very user-friendly name resolution. You can restore parts of it with @NameLookup and the like. It's pretty subtle though, and it won't be perfect.
